How to Clean Silver Chains
Sterling silver will eventually start to gather a tarnish, which first shows as a "yellowing" or gold hue on the silver. Fine silver will also tarnish over time, but much more slowly.
Silver can tarnish due to ingredients in bath and body products, and also sometimes from minerals in shower, pool and natural water. Sometimes ambient sulfur in the atmosphere can be the culprit.
